With a 7.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness, it is a stone that requires expert handling and precision setting. We often utilise the classic step cut (or emerald cut) to protect the stone’s corners while allowing its internal 'jardin'—the unique, moss-like inclusions—to catch the light.
