The Maisie is a ring with presence — and this version is raw, dramatic, and completely unforgettable. A deep, light-absorbing black diamond sits at the centre, flanked by vivid red rubies in a five-stone setting that is bold, architectural, and full of tension. Designed and handcrafted in our London studio by Nikki Galloway, the contrast of black diamond against ruby red in white gold or platinum is one of the most striking combinations in contemporary fine jewellery.

The marquise cut is chosen deliberately — its elongated, pointed silhouette creates a dramatic finger-lengthening effect and allows the black diamond to command the eye. The cool precision of white gold or platinum sharpens the contrast between the stones, making the rubies appear more intense and the black diamond more powerful.
