At Nude Jewellery, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact through the use of circular materials. All jewellery handcrafted in our own Surrey studio is made using 100% recycled silver, gold, and platinum. By repurposing existing precious metals, we are able to create exceptional new designs without the need for newly mined materials.
In addition to our own workshop pieces, we carefully curate collections from independent designers who share our dedication to responsible craftsmanship. While their specific processes may vary, we prioritise partners who align with our values of transparency and sustainability. This ensures that when you choose a piece from us, you are supporting a more ethical and forward-thinking jewellery industry.
Gemstones & Diamonds
The diamonds that we source from our suppliers all meet with the Kimberley Process, established in 2003 it regulates more than 99% of the worlds diamond supplies in a bid to eliminate blood diamonds.
We are also exploring the use of lab grown diamonds so should you like any of our designs please feel free to contact us to discuss what you are looking for.
Our Gemstones are all sourced from established gemstone suppliers that we have worked with for over twenty years, All of their stones come from workshops and factories they have visited and are confident that the people employed are treated well and fairly.
Handmade In Surrey
Much of our jewellery is handcrafted in our Surrey studio. This dedicated space allows us to maintain a low carbon footprint while ensuring every piece receives our undivided attention.
To maintain the highest standards of British craftsmanship, we collaborate with expert stone setters in London and utilize recycled metal casting in Birmingham. By keeping our production local, we are able to monitor our environmental impact at every stage of the making process.
Packaging
We are committed to ensuring our commitment to the planet extends to our presentation. We have transitioned our packaging to materials that are both recyclable and manufactured within the UK. Our signature boxes and tissue paper are now 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
As a small business, we believe that true sustainability means avoiding waste; therefore, we are consciously phasing out our remaining legacy packaging rather than discarding it. We appreciate your patience as we complete this final step in our transition to fully circular packaging.
