Artisan Sapphires: The Corundum Spectrum & Expert Craftsmanship

Sapphire is a variety of the mineral Corundum, sharing its chemical DNA with the ruby but occurring in almost every colour of the rainbow. Ranking at 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness, it is surpassed only by the diamond in its resilience, making it the premier choice for alternative engagement rings and heirloom pieces intended for a lifetime of wear. While the classic cornflower blue remains an icon of royalty and wisdom, our collection explores the 'fancy' sapphires that define modern, independent jewellery design.

Our work is characterised by an adventurous use of colour and form. In our Atlantis Storm and Atlantis Paradise series, we use asymmetrical clusters of sapphires in contrasting shades to create miniature, wearable landscapes. The Astraea collection—including the Echo, Liberty, and Trilogy—utilises the elegant marquise cut to showcase the stone's brilliance across a palette of teal, violet, and pink. For those who can't choose just one hue, our Allsorts eternity bands offer a joyful, multi-coloured celebration of the entire sapphire family.

Every sapphire in our collection is hand-selected and meticulously finished in our UK workshop, whether set in the cool shimmer of platinum and white gold or the warm glow of 18ct yellow and rose gold. Explore our sub-categories to discover the specific allure of Teal, Pink, Violet, and Yellow sapphires, each offering a unique, artisan alternative to the high street.
