Class description

A ring that you will wear forever handmade by your other half?  This sounds scary but you will be guided through each stage of the process step by step from the initial design consultation when you will decide on the metal that you will use through to the finishing process.  For this class we will only have one couple at a time so that they gain the full attention of the tutor.

General Information

The class will be arranged on a day to suit you, it will run from 10:30am until 4pm with a 30 min break for lunch, feel free to bring a packed lunch or you can make use of one of the local cafe's.  In the morning you will make your other half's ring in silver as an introduction to the techniques you will use (the silver rings you can take home that day). Then in the afternoon you will make your wedding rings in whichever metal you have chosen.  At the end of the session your rings will be sent off to be hallmarked (this normally takes 6 working days) they will then be placed in a Nude Jewellery ring box to take home in time for your wedding.  The cost of the class will depend on which materials you decide to use and will be confirmed after the initial consultation.

You can make your wedding rings in 9 carat gold, 18 carat gold, palladium and platinum. The price varies as the price of precious metals varies from day to day.

The day's workshop cost's £280 per couple plus the cost of the metal used (the silver rings are included in the price).
