What inspired you to become a jewellery designer?
It was a natural progression really,I started making jewellery at 16 and got a great sense of satisfaction from making things. I went on to developed ideas/designs of my own, which I wanted to try making myself. What is your favourite piece of jewellery? (either made or purchased)
I made a brooch designed by Stuart Devlin for his wife Carole, it was in the form of a peacocks feather set with diamonds, aquamarines and sapphires
Which celebrity would you love to wear your jewellery and why?
Difficult one, I guess as many as possible but maybe Sienna Miller, Kristin Scott Thomas and Carol Klein. Beauty, elegance and an appreciation of flowers.
Out-with jewellery is there any other career that you would love to try?
I would have loved to have been a professional badminton player.
What can we expect to see from you in the future?
More of the same but I want to develop the ideas further rather than copying the forms as they are in nature. |
